EnPrint ® Limited is responding to EU legislation that is driving a need for rapid, quantitative and accurate assessment of water quality – to ensure all water bodies achieve “good” ecological status by 2015.

Biological quality elements are useful indicators of water quality, and EnPrint offers a suite of state-of-the-art high throughput molecular tools for rapidly identifying and quantifying several key groups that are used as common environmental indicators. By using EnPrint’s analysis to provide a distribution of certain species or species groups, the analyst is able to assess the quality of the sample and give some indication about the ecological status of the water body from which the sample was taken.

EnPrint’s primary objective is to provide environmental analytical services for monitoring and maintaining good ecological status using high throughput fingerprinting techniques.
